Clutch lever is so short!

So when I am riding and I pull the clutch to shift I only have to pull it a very tine bit like 10% or something and it releases. Is that a sign my clutch is going out?

I added a stop on my 94 so it only moves 1/2 the travel it would otherwise do. Makes for slicker shifts... The clutch in my 94 is like new... Kyle and I did it only months ago... the original travel on the 94 and my 89 are the same. Way too much when the clutch disengages in the first quarter or so of the levers travel.

also it slips sometimes right when i start it(after sitting for a while) and take off than its fine.
