Does anyone know what the part number is for the complete gasket kit for the motor and if there is not one does anyone have a list of all of the gaskets, o-rings ect. needed for a motor rebuild. any help would be appreciated. I have looked at yamahas micro fiche and I could do it but if any one just has the list saved.

Yes, there is no OEM "kit" but I can sell you anything you need. Most of the time the o-rings are fine to reuse. I reuse all but the waterpump elbow and small o-ring that goes on the drain cock assembly where it goes into the t-stat housing.

I think it's a vesrah kit I have sold before that has everything but it's a pain since the o-rings aren't labeled to what each one is.

I don't know. I quit buying the full kit when I got the first 2 since there was a ton of un-needed crap in it. I think they were around $250-$300 for the complete kit.

I have got a guy that can get yamaha stuff pretty cheap, I know of companys that sell them i just need a list of what is needed. By the way sean how much do you sell your sets for. Ps. by the way when installing new valve guide seals does yamaha make their own installer, I have a few for harley ones but those a a bit bigger.

hello all, i bought a complete gasket kit a year ago and it was very complete, including all the gaskets for rebuilding a vmax motor .the company was named Athena . it was priced under $200.00 . this company makes OEM gaskets for the major japanese company such as yamaha and honda.kit includes even the copper washers, o rings ,even the exhaust crush gaskets.i feel its the way to go ,and is cost effective to buy every thing together instead of buying individual gaskets ,which is almost twice as much money. you can find them on line. best to you all buckridge

NO, that kit should work. I've used them once before too and don't really like the paper gaskets but I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with them. They also don't label anything so good luck figuring out all your o-rings. There is a lot in the kit for the money. For it to work on the 1300 ventures they have listed then that means the head gaskets are a bit big (you can use larger gaskets on smaller engines but not the other way around.).

As noted in other threads. We don't normally use the full "KIT" since we don't like some of the included parts. We could sell you the needed gaskets or probably even find you the kit if you wanted. I am sure someone online also offers the kit and would ship to you.

Thanks Sean, I don't mind ordering anything from the US but it takes 3 weeks most of the time due to customs not the shipping method. Believe it or not, I can get something shipped from China within a few days far cheaper then from the US. It's disgusting but true. That's why I was looking for a Canadian option first. If I strike out, I will surely be knocking on your PM door. In fact, you will probably hear from me to order other stuff...:)
