Ditching rear light.

Anyone have info on ditching rear light and making the rear fender clean on a Gen1??

I had a 96 with the reflector made into a Brake light & tail light Made by Lamberts Led but it was like 160.00 12 yrs ago . It is the complete housing with I think 48 LED lights , then I had 2 Lighted license bolts from summit racing for the plate . But I know Morelys Muscle was making the same thing just has good if not better a hell of a lot less . here is a photo of the one I had . Sorry I do not have Seans email

People use the CBR600 taillight too. Do a search on here for threads on it. Get the one with integrated turnsignals.

Are you saying that you want to remove the rear light altogether or re-locate it?

If it is the first then a) Is that legal where you live? and b) is it a good idea as you wouldn't have a tail light (useful at night) and no stop light (useful to warn any poor sod that is following you you are slowing down)

MaxMidnight the light I posted to is a Tail light and a Brake Light , running light it has 48 leds which are bright as hell

I apologize , not trying to be rude but responding to your post where you said he would have no tail light {useful at night} and no stoplight , that is all I was pointing out this light does have all those features again I apologize for my wording

I got this one on eBay. Not as bright as I'd like, but I think it fits under the fender very well. It also works as a turn signal, so no I have 2 lights to let people know to try not to hit me.

No I wpuld like to replace my existing light with one on the back of the seat.

Would you know where there is a kit for a rear light that attaches to the rear bracket on the seat??

Lamberts LED Enterprises complete housing running light , brake light , tail light bolts on and wire it up On their site it is LE-VMAX
