Fork rebuild / overhaul help please

NVM - I discovered the problem. Here it is: I'm a dumbass. I had loosened the bolt in the vise and the taken it out so when I was spinning it it wasn't actually coming out of the rod. I just had to put my rod holder back in there and finish twisting the bolt off :bang head:

BTW I documented everything and I will type it up tonight as a How To for fork disassembly / fork seal replacement.
