Where am I? Oh, right here...
I have now in my garage a 2003 european version v-max.
Bike has multiple damage couse car hit.

Frame was extremaly bent from the right side.
In the result engine was moved about 2cm to the left side, covers were crakced into pices and another damages but they not critical much...

Anyway, owner rebuild this bike. Evrything is now straight and what nesecery is replaced. Frame was fixed by laser mesuring.
Bike looks fine but from that time of accident engine wont start.

Multiple checked evry conponent and all the wireing also all electrical devices.
Same...engine fire but only one spark and then misfireing.

I'll say lets go for it and replace whole electrical from my bike.
Evry single piece was changed from my 99 v-max.
Even whole wireing and even what yoc can imagine.

No efect...still 1-2 sparks and misfireind...

Later i've replaced stator cover with pikcup coil and even inscepcted an flywheel.
When i've pull of the flywheel(horrible as usual) i saw multiple damage from
hammer or wtf?
Someone must use....something and damaged badly an flywheel.
That give me a clue....


IMO the crank in bent from the flywheel side so the flywheel projectors missing the pickup coil.

This may be coused by that accident or by some fucker who using hammer to remove flywheel.
Anyway, need to diasseble the motor and inscpect the carnk and cases.

Any opinions guys?
 
So the problem solved.
Flywheel crank journal was bend but not that much to be critical, about 0,2mm radial play.

The bike was realy a mess and piece of thrash but owner want it rebuild.

So i have no other way then to remove all harness and inspect it again this time with more careful.
I've remove all the insulating tape, get the schema and step by step checking all the harness.
Someone was there before me. BTW fixed all crimps. Its a couple of them in all harness.


I have noFidea what someone was looking in this harness but about 3 wires where missed and some connections where cut off :ummm::bang head::damn angry:

I cant bealive my eyes what i've found there.
Fuck...what of kind of jerk and moroan could do this in 2003 bike?:ummm:

Its easy to destroy but hell to fix it. Took me 2 days....


Bike is running curently. All working fine.
 
And now i know what that fucker was looking for!

Its an euro version but someone must install v-boost someday and that moron
pull out the v-boost control module with the wires. LOL that was a very fast and brute robbery!:surprise:
Wires for the v-boost are exactly what's missing plus some other damage due the brutal removing...

I think this thread should be moved to electrical section.
