Cool, you just removed the 30% of rigidity :) But what da hell, ey...

Here below is a 09-12 model... I still think mine is more rigid than that one...

I was a little concerned when I saw how much you took out of the stock brackets. They were engineered for that stress and the metallurgy accounts for it. The same for the new bikes. They look similar but may have much different metal specs. Hope it will be ok... :confused2:

Are you talking about the outer tube or the stanchion? Outer tubes are 50mm on top and 54mm on lower triple, stanchions are either 41mm (earlier models) or 43mm (late models), just like vmaxs. Im not sure if the R1 was everytime 43mm or the pre 2000 models were 41mm. The FZR USD forks are in fact 41mm...

Well been tinkering a bit but been lazy to post. Im doing some clear covers for my bikes and i cannot decide which one to use for the stator. I came up with 3 different versions and i think i might go with the simpler first version but what do you all think?

first one, other 2 look like peace signs, unless thats what you're going for.

First one gets my vote, will showcase the internals much more so than the other two.

Been busy for some time but lately got time to tinker a bit with my bikes. One of them is now on show at the Lisbon Casino and the other has been undergoing some cosmetic mods. Doing more stuff like clear covers and such but only took pictures of what i did today. Refitted the seat/tail section with a latch. Next week will be planning on fitting a integrated stop light but need to mess with some fiberglass to fit it properly. Oh new rear end as well... My imageshack stopped working (greedy bastards) so now im uploading directly to the forum... Regards all

For sometime already i have been thinking of something different to do. Started gathering parts and now starting to fiddle with them to make things come together. Some of these parts are familiar to many but can someone guess where im trying to go with this?

They're aren't any gears on that...
but then, the new bits look a bit small for a hydrostatic motor :ummm:
