R/R wire mod question???

....I am considering running the hot wire from the R/R directly to the battery with an inline fuse....but I am not sure what size fuse would be correct to protect the unit? Anyone that has done this care to say what they used?:ummm:

Glad u asked that ? mike. I'm wiring mine up right now too. Where did u mount yours at?

I don't think anyone has used a fuse. I didn't. Just run a heavy wire directly from the output of the R/R to battery. Do the ground wire, too.

And solder and heatshrink EVERY connection.
