Richmond, VA five and dime

I am planning a ride with a bunch of co-workers. If you are in the Richmond area. We will be meeting up off I-95 on Route 10 at the Raceway gas station. Riding to Yorktown on route 5, then back across the ferry and on Route 10. Meet up time is around 11 am on Saturday the 26th. Wheels up by 12. Here is a attached map of area.

Might take you up on that one day I'm still trying to figure more ways of making my gen II comfy for long rides . Besides my ex mother in law's funeral is saturday at a 11am I don't want to miss that ..lol

A group of us might come up in May for rolling thunder. Possible to meet up when that happens. Crossing fingers for no rain, I know all the Nascar fans are running for shelter, it pouring right now.

Cool Thunder is my target date for getting my bike where I can ride it for longer trips.(fricken arthritis )

I think rolling thunder is memorial weekend. Also thunder in the valley is end of june.

Yeah, found the link for it....its up in PA....little hike for me. 6 hrs. Heck, may be worth the ride just go get someone to show me how to properly sync the carbs....lol, I chase them all over the place. Just can't seem to get carb 3 to sync up with the others and I'm pretty sure they are under cause they are are about 160mm ish...and to make things worse service manual say 200 mm at idle (p4 maintenance schedule) and 170mm at idle (p2-13) under carb sync...:bang head: how I feel sync'in.....:clapping:how I feel when it is back to what I think is normal...:ummm: how I feel after the whole process..lol

I just make it (sync) close as possible till I do a good parts swap old for new ..

Heading out of Richmond on the 25th for Rolling Thunder. Anyone else want to make the trip?

Not so much a ride but. 9th Annual Hott Mid Summer Bike Bash at Virginia Motorsports.... Saturday 12 July... I am planning on seeing what my max will do.......I have a buddy that races and has some gear to barrow.... Come on down, already told my wife I will be busy that day..

posted at pictures and added them to a 1/4 mile post....It was fun my fat ass had to squeeze into my buddies jacket..... If I could go back about 20 years to where I was around 160 it would have been faster...
