Rider Pegs Fitment

Hopefully this will be easy to answer.....

I know the footpegs changed at some point (I have both the 1985 and 1996 microfiche), but is the fitment the same size? ie. if I get late model front pegs, will they fit an 85's bracket?

Basically if I get aftermarket pegs designed for the later models, will they fit mine?

Yes and no. The pegs are different and if swapping the OEM pegs you need the spring parts as well (that spring the pegs back). If doing aftermarket I don't think it matters.
