i removed and dissassembled my slave cyl. on my 86 to clean it out really well and was wondering if i needed to lube the seals with any type of grease or oil before i put it back together.thanks

When I rebuilt my slave cylinder I used a bit of new/clean brake fluid on the o-ring seal just to prevent it from rolling out or getting nicked. I would not use anything but the brake fluid you are going to use in the system.

+1 to Jim.

Also, put a dab of lithium grease on the end of the push rod. Put a dab of thread locker on upper slave cylinder mounting bolt. Did you install new seals? Manual said need to replace if removed.
