What kind of mileage can one expect from the stock front tire? :confused2:

If I remember right, I went through two rear tires before replacing the front. This was for Dunlap Qualifiers. I'm guessing between 8-10 thousand miles.
sounds about what I get (though the front isn't on the ground much - LOL). Of course I don't know how many rears I go through to a front tire.

Yah,3000 was the best I ever did on a rear.6000 on a front.I have burnt up rears in 1000-1500 many times.

My front tires usually go about 6000-8000 miles on just about any bike I've owned. They will usually start cupping. feathering or acting stupid before the tread goes away.
I usually squeeze about 5000 out of the rear tire if I don't do to many burnouts at the strip.

I don't think I have ever gotten over 2,500 miles out of a back tire - even pampering it. I run the Dunlops. Don't know what I average out of a front, they usually get the spider cracking and look bad long before the tread is gone.
