Does anyone know the proper tire pressire I should be running on my Metzeler ME 880's?

Ken, I have mine set to 42 up front and 38 in the rear. But....

Heres the old school way, it works for all tires.

Set the desired pressure.

Get out on the road and travel at speed for at least 25 min or so.....check the pressure .....

if no change....pressure is too high ..tire is running cold
if 2 to 3 psi up.....pressure is just right
if more than 3 psi up....pressure is too low

if you are going to run at high speeds over 100 mph for any length of time....go to the maximum rated tire pressure .

The new sport radials are run at maximum or at least 40 psi ....if you do not ..you will cup the front quick time and the rear will disappear in 2500 miles or so .

Radials are soft sided tires and do not get rock hard like a biased tire at high pressures .
