Vboost Switch ID

Hi guys,

I stripped some bits off the new vmax yesterday so I could fix the choke issue. While I was there I found a rather interesting box tapping into the vboost loom.

I suspect it's just a diode pack, but can anyone tell me what make/etc? It's rigged to a three position switch, just want to check what it does..

It's looks like a tboost switch to me. It turns on vboost on at 3K instead of stock 6K.

That was my first thought, but it is a three position switch? I couldn't see where it cut into the harness for the other coil either? It seems to be a 'kit' assembly from somewhere with the connectors, fit, etc...

Yes, it looks like a T-Boost plug and play kit.
It has 3 positions, Vboost at on 6K, Off and Vboost on at 3K.

- Improved once again.
Now includes direct plug-in capability.
Simply unplug your stock connector and plug in T-Boost.
Only one other wire needs to be connected.

- Three way selectable shift on-the-fly.
Enhanced 3k, stock 6k and off, for no v-boost.
(The last two options will seldom be used!!)
This option is not available elsewhere
