VMax on a Road Course?

Ok, I know its not the right tool for the job. But my KTM tires are shot. And so are my VMax tires. I have my last Track day for 2009 in two weeks. I hate to have to buy a rear for my KTM, and then put it away. So I am considering Control riding my VMax instead. I usually work with the beginners anyway. So I know I can handle it.

What tires would you recomend for extreme twisties. I have 2 sets of rims. So I will get something sticky for the track and cheap for the street. It sounds nuts, but a fun kind of nuts.....

Any personal experience with any of these tires? Different tires act differently on different bikes. I don't want any decel head shakes. I want to go play with no worries. My rear tire is square now and won't pass tech. I want to have fun without making as ass out of myself.

I ran them on my old bike. I liked them, great control of the bike with them.

They have a nice tred pattern. I'm in a toss up between putting these on my max or IRC's wild flare tires.
