Started my Honda VTR wheel conversion for my Max. Looks like it will work ok.
17 x 5.5 is the VTR rim
Machined out the centre of the VTR and will make a flange that will accept the stock drive rotor from the Max wheel and will machine an adaptor plate to mount the brake disc or machine one from scratch.
The wheel should look good as I had it polished.
Pictures to follow sooooooon

Machined up the drive flange and pressed it into the wheel. I'll weld it up and make some bushes for the rotor.
Crappy pictures because I left my camera home but used my phone cam.

Nice work. :clapping:
Welcome to the world of endless bling (and endless polishing). :tantrum:

No doubt on that. I had a front GSXR wheel polished every weekend out there with semichrome / metal polish and a stack of terry cloth towels rubbing my elbow off. Stupid me than decided to polish the whole frame and swingarm. Yeah you dont have to polish it every weekend but than it looks like CHIT!
Chrome or Powdercoat unless you like hours of rubbing buffing.
Nice machine work though.

Got the tyre or tire (depending where you're from) mounted and will attach the shroud for the drive unit and just got to make the disc carrier.
Going to brace the swing arm whilst I'm at it . Might chrome the drive unit and will powdercoat the arm after I'm done welding it.
Did a mock up to check clearance etc on the bike and it works perfectly with no clearance issues.:eusa_dance:

Edit: got a mock up pic with wheel.
