What year R1/R6 brakes and rotors?

I am going to get the adapters and was wondering:

What year R1 or R6 calipers do I need?

Can I use 2003 R1 rotors on a 85 Max?

If not which used rotors can I get besides the newer model stock V-Max rotors?

I am pretty sure you can use the 2003, just make sure they are 298mm.
I dont remember what year the R1/R6 went up to 320mm but it was just within the last few years.
Then in 2007 they went back down to 310mm.

I'm pretty sure radial calipers started on the R1 in 04 and the R6 in 05 so you DO NOT want calipers off of bikes above these years.
