Hello Guys, Kind of silly question - But still I'm curious to know what is the best RPM to ride the Vmax for keeping the engine in good shape. What is considered "hard" for the engine and will make its life shorter? I usually ride at 6000-7000 RPM... Thanks! Adi

I just bought my first Vmax, a 2000 model year. At 60 mph in 5th gear, the tach reads 4000 rpm. Is this standard for this model? That seems a bit high but I understand theses are 'stop light to stop light' bikes. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

Anyone have any experience with Gale speed wheels? They look like a good light weight alternative to the now discontinued Carrozzeria wheels, although their only available in 17 in diameter. Hard Racing in N.C. is advertising them for $1829.00. Gale speed lists a specific part number for the Vmax.
