This year, all 20 best actor nominees are white. I believe they said that this also happened in 1992 and again at some earlier year. Not exactly a trend IMHO.

Perhaps we are just tired of hearing about the Civil Rights movement and just wonder "Can we all get along?" as famous black person Rodney King, who was black, once asked as he watched
the Los Angeles Riots in horror. Yes, a black person was horrified at rioting black people. And HE was the one who was beaten by police!
