This year, all 20 best actor nominees are white. I believe they said that this also happened in 1992 and again at some earlier year. Not exactly a trend IMHO.

Al Sharpton says " "Selma" (the movie) has been largely ignored by whites and by the Academy. And at the Academy, the further up the ladder you go, the whiter it gets." Thanks Al...we all really needed that.

Perhaps we are just tired of hearing about the Civil Rights movement and just wonder "Can we all get along?" as famous black person Rodney King, who was black, once asked as he watched
the Los Angeles Riots in horror. Yes, a black person was horrified at rioting black people. And HE was the one who was beaten by police!

Meanwhile "Fury" is still not nominated for anything because the higher up the Academy ladder you go the stupider and more politically correct it gets.
