which one do you guys recommend? Kn is 56 bucks vs uni is 30 bucks.

Thanks,
sid

I think most run the K&N, because while it's more expensive, it's re-usable - you just clean it. So in the long run, it's cheaper.

It's also 'supposed' to improve air flow, although I'm not convinced.

dont waste yure money on the uni.......its junk lol....

if yu blow out the stokker with an air hose it will last a long time.

my experience with k&n has been with past bikes and it allways leaned them out a tad.

here I am the odd ball again lol I have run the uni for 2 years. I do change it every year but I figure it's just good insurance to keep a new one around. No problems here

DO NOT use air to blow out ANY filter... You will disrupt the fibers and limit the filtering capabilities. If you do blow it out blow out against the normal flow of air and do it from a distance so not to disrupt the fibers. Vacuuming and or a tap on the ground will get most of the big items off them.

I've been told UNI's can catch fire.

The K&N is easy to clean and replace.

Your best bet for performance is Sean Morley's kit IMO. Best bang for the buck.
