I have been trying to find locally, the specified Gear Oil which is 80w GL-4 Hypoid gear oil.

I cant find any GL-4, but I can find GL-5

Does is really mater if I use the 5 and not the 4?? is it that technical??

Thanks for any help.

GL-5 is just an upgrade and is ok to use. I use Mobil 1 synthetic gear lube, 75W-90.

BG for me. Best I've used, no metal shavings on drain plug at all!

That is correct on availability - but you'll only need to replace it once - the BG stuff does not breakdown and does not cause aluminum oxidation/corrosion like the other materials which is why it will last forever.

Same as the BG part 334 for the forks.

Mike B. says it makes conventional stuff like Bel Ray, etc look like shit.

Its 200cc or till the filler hole is fine as well... (if you go for filler hole its easier to check for leaks)
