It was very nice to meet you Rick. Thanks again for the keep my Max dry wood plank:biglaugh: You are quite the Vmax enthusiest :worthy:

NOTE TO SELF:

Buy new tires BEFORE going to any Vmax rally. :bang head:

You don't have any idea how hard it was to find a tire on a MONDAY morning? I ended up getting a "new" Mezler from a small place in Shell Knob, Mo. I don't even want to read the date code on it. It's a size smaller than stock, but will fit Krystal's bike when we go trade hers in.

Finally got the tire on today and rolled out from Shell Knob about 12:30pm, 291 miles later, we rolled in here at 7:45 pm
For those those that missed it, here is the pic. when I got it to the tire shop.

It kinda puts the "mad" in Mad Hatter. LOL :punk:

Good to know you made it home safe:clapping:I'd say you got your moneys worth out of that tire:rofl_200:

I can't believe you found a bike shop of any sort open on a Monday Hatter. You got lucky there too.

Here's some pics I took with my little digital pocket camera. I may have to go back the manual to find out why so many are coming out blurry. I am afraid I don't do very good pics with it. My trusty ole' 35MM Canon is too bulky to go along any more.

Who knew there were wild elk in Arkansas?

So did anyone get an accurate count of how many of us were there?

Ummmmm........define "accurate".

Somewhere around 30 Vmaxes participated in the actual Saturday ride. Some riding double and/or other assorted bikes would put the number up around 35 people.

Then there was the gentleman and his son with his Gen II and Rune stopped into the parking lot Saturday evening for a meet and greet with Shala and I. They were chance driveby's in Eureka Springs by themselves and didn't know about the rally in time to make the ride.

I can't be more accurate than that due to the fact that Vmaxes and their riders tend to mill around way too much to be counted.

nice vids!! I had a dr's apt that was 60 miles from here this morning so I took max. I counted 2 twistys and 4 turns on my ride lol I'm missing Arkansas already :)

I think we had 32 total bikes on the sat ride and 35 or 36 people at the cliff house.
there were at least 2 or 3 v-maxes in town that didn't ride with us.
Michael
