Anybody see Jay Leno`s 09 Max last night on the Barrett Jackson Auction.?
What a beautiful machine. It sold for $120,000.
There was a 12 year old boy bidding on it up to $115,000. I think his grandfather was backing him.

Wached it all happen in living color. You bet "gramps" was driving the price up. I was going to post it up but between my wife hogging the computer and someone else posting in another thread, I just waited till tonite. Nice paint job though.

The bike was being sold to support a cause. My brother watched it and thinks the guy that bought the bike along with other Yamaha musical items might have put it all back up for auction just to support the cause.:confused2:
No doubt the pairing of a custom Vmax and Leno's fame is what took the price so high, I'm sure the bike was only worth $119k or so....:rofl_200:
