Sorry, but I have to ask for what purpose? All cables are hydraulic so they really don't require maintenance other than fluid replacement.

I sometimes use WD40 to clean off tar stains or bugs stuck to the lines.

Edit: Looks like Marko is thinking the same thing I am.
 
Got it, thanks. First bike I'v had without regular cables.

Doesn't hurt to disconnect the speedo cable, at the speedometer end, and let a few drops of "3 in 1" (or equivilent) oil drop down the length. Keeps operation silent, may save you the cost of buying another cable. I do this once a year.

Hasn't been an issue on my Max yet, but on my Magna the speedometer needle would sometimes get kind of jerky...it bounced around a little. Lubing the speedo cable always took care of it.

What was your last bike with cable-operated brakes? Thought those have been gone since the 70's.
