Bike is strictly Southern. Wanted to see what members here recommended on brand and weight for a fully syn diff oil.

I use Lucas Heavy Duty 80W-90 GL-5 Gear Oil ($8.99 for 32 oz.)

But any good SAE 80 GL-4 Hypoid gear oil will work as stated in the manual:

I use valvoline 75w-90.
it's synthetic, gl-5 rated, reasonably priced and easy to find. It goes in my vmax and both grizzly 450 differentials

I use Mobile 1 75/90 $11.00 LINK
Best to change it after a longer ride when the lube hot. It's a good to turn wheel while draining and also after filling so lube gets into all areas. Fill right up to where the lube almost comes out of the fill hole while bike is on center stand. I get 4-5 fills out one container since the final drive capacity is only 0.21 US qt..

I also use the synthetic Lucas in all my bikes with the differentials. Has the additive in it thats more "sticky".
