UFO 4-2 slash cut install questions.

Just got a used 4-2, UFO slash cut system . Besides keeping everything loose while installing it, is their anything else I need to do that isn't obvious.

Haven't taken the stock headers off yet.
Bike doesn't have a center stand.

Do I lose the stock heat shields when reassembling?

Came with what looks like a Stage 7 kit too so the hunt begins for setting my carbs up too.

you can use RTV gasket sealer at the joints

On my kerker 4-1, I lost the heat shielding. I just used the side stand when I took my stock exhaust off.

Is there anything that goes in between the exhaust and the block. I bought the system used , no instructions, parts list etc...

Found the crush washers. Anyone have different luck with non copper gaskets?
