venture throttle tube on a vmax?

Just wondering if a throttle tube/grip from a venture will fit an 85 vmax.. I've got a brand new set of isogrips that list the venture sitting here and would love to put em on the vmax but not sure if the fit is the same on the tube?

1st gen Ventures are 7/8" dia handle bar. (83-93)

2nd gen Ventures have a 1" dia handle bar. (99-13)
