Anyone try Custom Dynamics LED tail light?

It looks like a good solution for a stock look. just curious if anyone has tried, and feedback on how well the LEDs shine thru the red lens???

Never ran that particular light but had their sequential light bars before and they are very bright.

Looks to be a bunch of led's in that one (48 to be exact), I'd bet it's extremely bright.

I had one of their boards on my VTX. In a standard reflector housing, you lose some off-axis brightness. What you gain in direct angle viewing is pretty silly, though. Riders were always giving me a signal that I was riding my brakes. Then I'd tap the brake and they'd freak out. I don't know if those bulbs are the same ones they sell separately on their sight, though. I had a board with about 100 LEDs in it. I'm not sure how much brighter than stock the one you posted would be.

Ive had good luck with these...and side by side with the stock bulb, they are brighter and react quicker. The down side is that they are expensive, but I didnt have to change anything out other than the bulb itself.

Why would you do this instead of the motodynamic CBR LED light? The MD light looks a lot better, in my opinion, and you get to delete those amber lollipops too

So, did I you get the red led, shining thru the red lens, and everything is cool?
