"the lawsuit seeks unspecified financial damages. It argues that the legally purchased ar-15 used by adam lanza in the attack should never have been sold because it had no reasonable civilian purpose." this statement is sickening. The judge that let this proceed should be gone. Your opinion does not supercede the 2nd amendment.
So, the gun was purchased legally, and then STOLEN and used in the commission of a felony, and the gun manufacturer is responsible?:confused2:
What? You're looking for logic?
But, but, but.......I thought I read somewhere that the stolen AR-15 Lanza had with him remained in the trunk of his car while he performed mass shooting inside that school with his pistols. Did I remember that incorrectly? Or are there different versions telling different stories of what he used inside the school?
Recent tests performed by the ATF reveal the possibility that the Lanza AR-15 may have actually driven the car to the school that morning.....:blink000:
Theres always a legal team with no scruples ready to file suits like this, a little unsettling for a judge to allow it to go on but what would set a very bad precedent is if the plaintiffs prevailed. It's actually healthy for someone to try this occasionally and be struck down, it reminds others that would bring about such frivolous lawsuits to just make the leap to accept responsibility or place it where it is due.
I'm hoping the judge is just making the person behind the suit waste their money. Bushmaster should countersue and add defamation of character, slander, etc. Putting the asshole in debt for the rest of his life would be a fitting outcome.
