I'mn about to undertake the rebuild of my vmax forks. I was wondering what is uaually purchased to do so, I know I need fork seals and dust seals, buying progressive springs aswell. Do i need BUSHINGS or is that something to look at and inspect after disassembled?

I'd tear them apart and inspect the bushings before buying them.

Bushings aren't normally needed unless there is a ton of miles on your bike. Take a look at them after the forks are apart, if a significant portion of the grey is wore down to copper (25% or more) then replace them.
