Had a BEAUTIFUL ride today...

300+ miles from Salt Lake City to St. George, Utah.

Stopped to capture the scenery...

The countryside was nice too... :rofl_200:

PM me if you are still down here. I'll meet you for a look at your bike.

Arrived last night, unloaded, and took a nice ride to the local watering hole in the 70 degree evening air... :clapping:

OMFG!!!! No, those are new Cobras. Yours are tucked away safe and sound ready for return. I can't thank you enough for loaning them out. In the end, the look and sound were worth it to me to lose the ponies (and, yes, it IS noticable).

I feel like a complete ass for not contacting you about making arrangements to get them back to you before now... :bang head: Sorry, man.

As for the saddlebags, they are tucked away in the hotel room... :biglaugh:

Parked at the hospital where the application training is taking place...

Love the paint on your bike what is that called
Mystique ? Ive seen it before but can't remember the
name. Question: why the difference on the pipes ?
More restrictive ? Love the pics man.

Paint was a rattle can job with a Duplicolor product called Mirage. :biglaugh: I am pleased with the result even though I had to do the faux cover twice... :bang head:

The Cobras look and sound great, but the throttle response is noticeably "softer". I understand that there are numerous reasons for this including flow and lack of exhaust gas scavanging.

My MPG did not change and the bike runs great.

Not looking forward to heading home to the rain and cold tomorrow... :(

Met up with Hobejam earlier today. Hell of a good guy. We had a hoot talking bikes and everything else. He has a nice ride and nice gear. His paint job turned out very nice.

Got to hear his Cobra exhaust. Never heard one in person before. Very nice.

I trust he'll post back with some more ride pics and so forth.
