Heat Sheild

At one time my wife put her heel on the exhaust and melted her shoe to the pipe. So I thought there has got to be a way that she won't have to worry about her shoe and can totally relax. So I had this local guy build this for me since I am not at home to access my tools. I used some poster board layed each piece out for him so there was no guessing. Now what color to make it? Chrome it, Hot Coat it like the exhaust what? :confused2: suggestions please :ummm: Thanks G

Pat made a generous offer, I don't think it looks bad as-is. Either one. A lighter color is more inconspicuous to my way of thinking. Jet-hot should make it last. Pat's stuff should look good too.

+1 inconspicuous is good....think I'd avoid chrome seems like it would probly scratch easily.

I don't have an opinion on the color without seeing the whole bike.

I would go with the Hot-Coat. That's just me though. If you have a lot of bling on your Max already, chrome might be the better choice.
