I want to sincerely thank all those left behind fighting the war at home, too.

A big thank-you goes out to all those that have served, are serving and those that paid the ultimate price.
Today I paid a visit to my childhood hometown church where there is a memorial to a hero of my childhood, Michael Kelly Thompson. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot ranked as a First Lieutenant but was posthumously promoted to Captain.

Thanks to all military personnel past and present who have served our country.
Also a special prayer for those who gave all and their families so that we may enjoy our freedom.
