I'm still using the leather like string plugs with 100% success rate, easier to carry, more compact and probably cheaper but no air provision. I once saw a guy that had a proffessionally made air hose about four feet long with two female ends. You use it to steal air from other tires such as a passing vehicle or your other tire in a true pinch to get you going. Anybody here can make me one of those?!

Very cool, beats the pluug kit I have now. I bought a cheap compressor from K-Mart and stripped it of everything it didn't need to fit in a sandwich bag. I've never had to use it yet. But, have had to patch a tube once, years ago on the side of the road. Flat tires are another reason I put my center stand back on this year.It's much easier to inflate and just work on the tires up on the stand. Rear tire for sure.
