i remember being 8 or 9 yrs old and watching my brother play this game. my heart pounded so bad i couldnt watch. to this day i still dont think i could play this game. it didnt need loud sounds or fast action to scare you. i was honestly scared. you could play for 20 mins and only hear howling and movement, then theyd drop a monster on you like this!!!

you could only save a few times in this game so if you died you lost a lot of hard earned work!! it added to the suspense

this one is called a licker, if i remember right it was a human that had the T virus injected into them while they were still alive.

I'd agree with ya there. Resident Evil 2 is probably one of the creepiest games I ever played. I was too young to play it when it first came out on playstation, I was probably 9 or 10 when I played it on my Nintendo 64. Had to go with dad to the rental store because mom wouldn't rent M rated games. Remember I had to "work myself up" to continue the game since I was scared of what might happen. I've since played all the RE series and loved each one, in a grotesque way.

Sanity's Requiem on gamecube was another grade A creeper. The whole premise was that your character could go insane from all the weird shit happening in the game, and depending on your choices. As the sanity dropped, all sorts of weird stuff would happen. The story was truly weird, yet really engrossing also.

As for that third video....good use of a Harley, huh? Bit unrealistic though, a Harley could never do that good of a burnout.

On another note...here's a candidate for "scariest" game ever, in that it was actually released and went to market way-back-when. If you're wondering, that's a naked General Custer sporting an 8-bit erection attempting to get his "revenge". First ever porn video game in 1982.

i bought motogp08 last year planning to play it online but i let my friend borrow my xbox cuz his burnt up and he was having withdrawals... he lost the motogp so i got to play it one time lol. i havent really played any console games since. we play World of Warcraft for like a week every 6 months cuz the games sooo... boring but addictive lol

That is so true , I would try to go to bed after playing some games till 4 am. And you could still hear the sound effects , wind blowing & howling noises ! " lol" "lol" then with no sleep , I'd have to get up & go to work ! ... Then I'd come home and continue the game , it is so frigging addicting !

While it may not be scary I can for sure relate to losing sleep with a video game! I played World of Warcraft sometimes with only 4-5 hours of sleep/ weekend! Then sometimes during the week I would play from the time I got off work until I had to go to work the next day!
