Thanks for the pics. Looks like what I’m looking for. Am I right that the Corbin will get me 1-2” closer to the ground?
Will you accept $500 total for seat and mailing? I’d sure appreciate it.

The Corbin seat will get you closer to the ground. I paired this with a 1" dropper on the shift and brake levers and it was the perfect combo. I also have those available if interested. Without knowing your shipping address im guessing shipping will be between 20-30$ so if you want to split the shipping cost with me we can do that. 500$ for the seat and go half on shipping cost?

Also id like pictures of that backrest too if you got them

Sounds fine. My shipping address is
Jeff Cunningham
5712 Morrison Ave
Louisville KY 40214.

How do we complete the exchange of product and money? I usually only buy and sell through eBay.

I attach a couple of pics of backrest.
Thanks

Hey all you dedicated Vmax enthusiasts,
just picked up a 2006 Black Max and want to do something with my seat, I know there is the maxgasser, the corbin, the muscle guy and and the sportmax. It seems like the sportmax is the best priced but I am one who has learned that you get you pay for. However, this is only a seat man, it's not triple bypass surgery or an engine overhaul!
I saw Sean's post on how to dismantle your own seat and shave away foam and then re-stretch and re-staple the original vinyl right back on.
I personally am going to try this as I am an avid DIYourselfer and feel this is WELL within my ability, I can always go to a local upholstery shop and have them fix it if I screw it up.
Any thoughts from you all out there who don't want to spend $300 plus on a seat or am I just to darn thrifty?
I have a Corbin seat that came with bike. The seat feels harder than stock but the design provides a lot of room to remove the so called numbing spots and you feel like you are sitting in a nice saddle . My wife likes it the best compared to other bikes I have had. 2up is not my preferred choice of riding. I like the looks of the stock seat better and after redoing my R1 and some 4 wheeler seats. I say go for it. You can also make cut outs and add comfort gel in your preferred areas and recover with custom materials. Get a proper stapler . good luck
