Side Stand Switch Question

As far as I know they did.
I actually removed mine when it started to act up.

My 85 has the sidestand kill switch, so i assume that all years came with it

Yes, 85-89 interchange and 93-07 interchange.

I just saw a guy start his Max & take off with the side stand in the down position.It was an older model, so that's the reason for my question. Thanks everybody..........Rusty:biglaugh:

His relay may be unplugged

Can you just bypass the switch? Wouldn't that be easier than trying to hunt down the relay and rewire that?

The early bikes you just unplug the relay which isn't terribly hard to get to.
