Here in mid-Michigan today, an un-seasonable 50 degrees ! The clouds broke / sun came out after a wet morning / roads were semi-dry, so I just HAD to fired up the VMax and was able to squeeze in one last 45 minute ride before the clouds settled back in and the temps started dropping. Forecast is for light snow tomorrow, lasting until next April !!! :rofl_200:
Got in a couple final "burnouts" on the original Dunlap tire; it's now toast after 6300 miles on it. New Shinko 170 waiting in the garage to be installed.

A GREAT 2010 riding season here in Michigan... looking forward to 2011, once the snow melts !!!

It's flurrying here right now... BOO!

I put my snow tire/wheels on on Saturday... None too soon!

Chris

I got a similar quick ride in last Tuesday, was a mild 50 degree day so I did around 40 miles. She's parked for the season now.

Thanks Redbone. Days like this are a BONUS to get out and ride the V-Max! Too bad I couldn't make it to the UP this season; would have liked to stop by to see your bike. A met a former co-worker at a lunchen last month; said he worked at the lighthouse near Brimley this past summer. Names Jerry Smith - know him ? I think this is the lighthouse you have pics of Redbone in front of. Small world !!

Lucky dog!:punk:

Redbone,

I am going to come up and play some BJ at the casino and see how long I will last before Matt or that Native head of Surveillance throws me out,,,I will give you a heads up before I head up.

Jeff, I roll though that lighthouses parking lot quite a bit as it's about 3 miles from my house. I use it to turn around at on my way to work or coming home, adds a fun section of corners to get the blood flowing to start the work day or to blow off some steam afterward. Sorry don't know Jerry though.

I'll be sure and get plenty of riding in and think of you guys. Our season in the low desert is actually in full swing now. In fact, I tend not to want to ride when the mercury dips down toward 50!

But, I suffer through chilly morning rides (40's) so I can blast home from work in 65 to 75 degree temps.

Tough, but somebody's got to do it...

Jeff, looks like you got that ride in just in time!................3-4" of snow sitting in my yard right now............................Tom.
