Venture camshafts.

Someday i've heard somehere that some v-max folks tried to run with
venture exhaust camshaft :ummm:
Just a rummor but im curious aboout this.

Whats the difrence with venture cams?

I would think that it would be a milder cam since it is a touring bike.

Venture cams have about 30? less duration and about .020" less lift too. I don't know why anyone would want to cork up the exhaust flow like that.

i think the same guy had used the carb chains.

An exhaust cam won't have as much effect as an intake but there is no real reason to do that. We can use them for larger cam cores but otherwise they aren't worth messing with.
