I am changing just the springs on my 85 max with progressive springs, and need to know how much fork oil I should use in each. I have misplaced the instructions that came with the springs.:bang head:

Just like it says i have a fork assembly of a 1992 vmax with only a couple hundred miles on the fork seals before i removed them from the bike, over all good condition, can send picture if interested How about $60 plus shipping

Hi, I'm following Sean's video on how to pull apart my forks. I have an '85, and I can't budge the fittings where the air goes in. I've tried slding the forks down and bashing them on the lower triple clamp - no luck. Is there something I'm missing? The manuals I have say "pull them off"...

My manual says to use 10W, however, do you guys stick to this? I'm planning to drop the front by about half an inch to steepen the head tube angle to improve steering. So should I stick to the 10W??

Going to see if there is a conversion out there that I haven't seen yet, the cheapest inverted fork conversion kit I've seen so far is from cycleoneoff.com for around $1300. So anyone find a cheaper one?
