    steering head bearing removal

Hello After the better part of a day I finally got the upper bearing races removed. The lower races, however, look even more stubborn. There is no lip at all to drive it out with a long screwdriver from above. One suggestion was to weld a bead directly onto it and use that to drive it out...

    fork removal

Ok I know this has been asked before, but it is still unclear to me: How do I remove the air nozzle assembly on top of the forks? Is it secured to the forks at all? Is it supposed to just slide up off the forks (with some persuasion). If they don't want to move, how can I best persuade them?

    Exhaust removal questions

Removed my stock exhaust today in prep for my fancy new HMF's. Couple of questions: I pulled these off the rear headers: I assume the small rings are the exhaust gaskets and the larger rings are used to secure the pipes into the engine. Is that right? I did not pull anything like this off...

    rear wheel drive hub removal

I'm sure this is a question that has been asked before, but I'll ask it again. I have a 1985 model and want to replace the dampers in the rear wheel. They are listed as spareable parts as are the pins that fasten the clutch hub, or drive hub if you prefer, to the wheel. Therefore, there must be...

    Heat deflector? removal?? OK???

I removed the front rubber heat deflector from my bike so that I could mount flexible LED light strips along the frame rails. The front piece goes between the radiator and the front cylinders/faux tank. I also removed the rear plastic one that snaps onto the valve cover bolts. My question is if...
