Other than your Max, what other bike do you have or had?

Just curious to see what kind of bikes you guys currently have or had, excluding your V-Max. Me personally, prior to my 2007 Max, I had a 2007 HD FXST, totally customized including chrome controls, 16" apehangers, V&H Big radius w/Screamin Eagle race Tuner and Heavy Breather, and all kinds of other HD accessories including all the Willie G. Skull-themed crap. Anyway, it was visually a cool bike, but I'm more into performance bikes. Obviously, I got rid of it, lost alot of money in the process and got my new V-Max 2007 leftover. I just never liked those Harley dudes or there little cliques. Heck, most have probably never rode a fast bike and don't even know what a V-Max is, but that's OK. I've also had a 2001 Kawasaki ZRX-1200, 1995 Honda Magna, 1998 Triumph Thunderbird Sport, 1994 Suzuki GSXR-1100 and a mint condition 1985 Kawasaki ZL-900 Eliminator. That was a cool bike and fast, but still no V-Max. A few others not worth mentioning. :biglaugh:

I learned to ride a '83 Honda Shadow 500 which was my dads. He then traded it for an '86 Vmax which I loved! So, in '96 I bought my '89 Vmax and have had it since.

No real need to list all the other bikes( not sure that I could remember them at my age). The only one that matters to me now is the "other" bike. The poor, old, slow, but very black ZX 11.

And now the Vmax. I have taken out my friends and old man's cruisers of all types, but I only like motorcycles that have some power so I own a Vmax for my cruiser. I do like the power twins like the Roadstar Warrior a lot, that might have to be my next bike if I don't go into debt for the new Vmax.

Started out riding my moms 80 650 Maxim then moved over and rode my dads 83 750 maxim.

Ended up buying my first bike right out of high school - 83 650 Seca Turbo. Rode it a few years stock (modfied turbo wastegate) before I changed the engine in it to a 750 (650 was tore up caused by a very nasty crash - not my fault). I still have this bike and we are currently trying to get it back in running condition to bring it to Topeka. On boost with the 750 it was as fast as the Vmax.

Rode a friends 85vmax so much he told me to keep it in my garage. Over the years we treated that bike like the town whore. Everyone had a ride on it! The engine finally greanaded beyond repair with about 65-70,000 miles and spun a main. It had been rebuilt 4 or 5 times. Trans gave up with 80hp NOS shot.

Bought my first vmax, a 91, and still have it (though it's completely apart).

85 Vmax Drag Bike (Methanol Injected)
Two Face Vmax (haven't decided what I am going to title it as yet).

My buddies got an S&S 113ci Fat Bastard chopper, It dynoed an honest 120 RWHP, it's not a high neck, high tank thing that's hard to handle, it's low and long. No huge rear either, it's running a 200 on back. it's a super nice bike which he spent about 1.5 years putting together from a "Kit"

He can smoke my ass from 0-20mph:rofl_200:

i learned how to ride on dirt using a friend of mines bikes back in the 70's. the first bike i actually owned myself was a 1985 honda 500 shadow, then an 87 honda nighthawk 700s, 85 yamaha v-max, 78 suzuki gs 750, 89 yamaha vmax, 97 yamaha vmax, 2000 aprilia rsv mille, and a 2002 suzuki marauder 800. the last 5 bikes mentioned are all parked in the gararge right now,but i'm fixxin to take the 97 max out to check an issue i'm having with the new r1 front end setup. tried something a little different from the norm and i think it very well may bite me in the ass.
