Man, in this instance it may be justified! That's one tough looking character right there....no telling what might be hidden under that vest! :rofl_200:

Great pic! :clapping:

he is wearing a bike patch on the vest......and shades.....gotta be up to no good right lol

I met up with that dog ridin' an old Panhead in Virginia back in '84...
Good times. We rode together for a few days. Spent a night in jail in Georgia.....
I didn't know he was still kickin'.
Good Times.................

Did you guys sing old tunes when you were in the can together? I'm sure he doesn't have a lot of vocal range, but you know it's from the heart.

I was riding home last night with the 'when are you getting a sissy bar for this thing???' wife when a nice 50 degree day dropped down to about 38. That was cooooold and I was in a hurry to get back home to warmth. So I was taking advantage of the late night traffic (lack thereof) and riding the vboost and in general being an asshole.

I turned onto the home stretch, gunned it to about double the limit, and saw a cop pull out behind me.

'Aw man... this ticket is going to have us standing in the cold for like an hour...'

He followed me the next couple of blocks and then turned off. I'm not sure if he just didn't get a good clock on me or decided it would be mean to make some folks on a bike sit out in the cold for a speeding ticket in zero traffic. Either way I was thrilled when he changed his mind.

My season may very well be coming to an end soon despite my denying the weather. This shit is getting brutal.

I too have been let off by the fuzz a few times. Not at double the limit, but a few years back ,Monday morning work ride on my FZ6, Im doing 80mph in a 55 zone on the interstate thru downtown..no one behind me for a long way..finally see an suv in the left lane couple hundred yards behind me,but coming up...turns out it was the local cops. Saw him, didnt even slow much, because I knew he had me busted. Cop rode right by in the left lane.. boy was I surprized...He simply wasnt interested in messing with me..and I was grateful!!! On the way home,I kept it at the speed limit:biglaugh:

maybe he didn't want to be in the cold either & was on his way home too.

Heh, I'm getting on the beast for another couple hundred miles today it's supposed to be in the 60's today. Then it's supposed to snow this week.... fuckin midwest weather.

This will likely be my last day on it for the season until the Chicago Toys for Tots ride in December. Then it'll be time to give the ol gal a rest for a couple months :(

When I was in college; a county sheriff deputy got on my tail as soon as I left the bar where I'd been drinking & shooting pool for 3 hours. I left the bar at about midnight.
Probably had 7 or 8 beers (was winning at 8 ball).
I was definitely over the limit.

The deputy followed me all the way to my girlfirend's house, which was 8 blocks from the bar. There was a stop sign "every damn block". It's just me in the lead, and him right on my ass: his light illuminating the inside of my car. My butt was puckered up! I'm just waiting for him to flip the switch on the lights, all the way to my girl's house.
Know it's just a matter of time............
It was the longest 8 blocks I ever drove in my life.

Pull into girlfriend's driveway, and start to get out.
The deputy flips the swith on the lights, and blips the siren.............
and drives on down the road.
I am literally shaking, and almost hyperventilating.

In a plastic bag, under the driver's bucket seat in my car was, guess what ???

Never found out who he was............
Sent out a mental thanks to him, for the escort home, & the free pass.
He coulda nailed me good; he let me slide.

Jester 42

P.S. About 2 years later; I married that girlfriend in the college chapel. We didn't have a pot to piss in then!
This past October, we celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary.
