so you still have the avon on the front? would a 120 still work? how much is your speedo off by with the smaller height of the front?

Metzeler Roadtec Z6 Interact 110-80-18 - about 10% off on the speedo.

Had 1st gen Z6 and it wore funny, now have the new and improved Z6 tire and it is wearing the same as the first one?

i believe 110/80/18 would work best, as the original front wheel is very narrow. 120/70 would tuck inside and reduce grip while leant over.
110/80/18 are available from michelin as pilot road 2ct !!!!

would the sidewall be roughly the same tho? allowing them nto to bend over that much?

I have a 110/80 on mine. The diameter is a little closer to stock for speedo purposes and it will fit the stock rim. The 120/70 requires a wider rim even though many still use it. There are not as many 110/80's as 120/70's though. :twocents:

thanks for the info. not a lot of 110/80 options at all huh? any downsides to the 120/70?

120/70 is def shorter tho @ 84mm sidewall vs the 110/80 @ 88mm sidewall, but thats pretty negligible, yea? looks about .007%ish.... as far as circumference goes.

+1 on the Pilot Road 2ct's. I converted to 17's and am running 120/60 up front and 180/55 rear and they seem to be wearing really well.

man those 2cts are cheap eh? look slike the cheapest 110/120 for the front is $120 plus shipping!

I looked around for about a week on the net and found a set for $ 200.00 + shipping. :punk:

where'd u find 'em? and what size front/rear are u running? stock swingarm?

The fronts aren't 120/55 are they? Speedo must be so far off eh?

I run the 120 70 18 Metz ME880 Front on stock 85 wheel without much a noticeable variance in the speedo. 180 55 18 Metz ME880 Rear.

I didnt have any problems with beading the front. Tire looks fine on the stock wheel. The contact patch dont look to be affected with the narrow rim.
