Lately I been feelin like I gotta eat/sleep/breathe vmax.'specially when the weather gets cruddy. This will be my 1st winter season of vmax ownership..and its prolly gonna be a long one.

MUST..gain ...more..vmax... knowledge...

me too, should be working. Not much of a break down in south Georgia-maybe 6 weeks tops. And thats only because its too cold in the morning to ride, Air FOrce gotta be at work by 0645. Almost X-mas time, checking out prices to feed the monkey, learn new stuff etc...

I run a window in the background here on my computer at work. I can check in throughout the day, and no one's the wiser. I go back & forth between a couple forums, both for my Vmax and my Honda. Also occasionally check personal email and/or the old FB account.

My wife is 11 years younger than me; she still works & helps support me in the style I've become accustomed too.
She plans on retiring next year.
We met & married in college; 33 years ago today.

MY daughter is 42 years old, has 3 college degrees, works in banking. She doesn't need our help.

What I did this morning?
Went for a ride on my 07 Max.
It was pretty nippy at 8 this morning; probably 45 degrees. Definitely could NOT get away with wearing outfit in photo!
Stopped at local bike shop for awhile; checked out an old Honda Hurricaine, and aggravated the "boys in the back".
Came back home from ride, cleaned bike a little, & mounted a new set of mirrors(see photo).
Since then I've generally goofed off & puttered around..............
I can "always" find something constructive to do when I want/need too. Right now I'm "caught up".

Usually, I stay glued to the screen and don't even eat or do anything but watch for new post. Tonight I'll sleep an hour. I have the lap top in the bathroom. My bike will last forever, I never ride it. 1989 with 2k miles. Tires are rotting though, and the dust on me needs brushing.:sleep 2:

An awsome thread would be, what do I do when I'm on this site? Do I add to it? Can I help out someone that's stuck on an issue I can help resolve? Welcoming a new member. Share my experiances. Do I have a part I don't need and offer to loan it out or sell it cheap.

People like myself are logged in trough there phones & a pc so it shows us online all the time. I am logged on but havent visited the site in a week. I am my own boss ,I have a beautiful wife,we have many friends,so I would say we do have lives . We ride our bike every day unless a down pour so it's not sitting looking pretty. I also like to read & comment on issues if I can help or just to catch up what everyones doing w/ there maxes. Matt I think this thread was uncalled for .

Hey there Mr Live Free Or Die...no attitude here , at least no Harley attitude . This post was just a thought put down in writing and shared with people who share a like mind . That being riding motorcycles in general and Max's in particular . Seems to me , by the size of your response that YOU are the one with the Harley thought process...something to do with size...or trying to make up for lack thereof...:ummm:

Oldtimer how many miles have you put on your bikes this year? And of all the riding you have done, How much has been with fellow Vmax riders vs your HD buddies. I'm thinking since you work nights you could have some serious miles adding up, but not once have you joined in on any of the nore'easters rides or shown any interest in doing such. I guess your life must be so Fulfilling that you don't have the time to spend with us guys with like interests.

I'm at work and logged on 5 days a week and usually logged on at home night and weekednds as well, but like others I'm usually doing something else than staring at the latest post. I do keep up with the latest happenings but only post when I can help or when I'm try to hijack a post.:biglaugh:
