GSXR after going over a normal bump on the street at 50 mph. No one was damaged in the failure of these welds. Supposedly Suzuki knows about this problem.

When in doubt...Gas it !!!

Dang! Bet that was a fun awakening.

Any warranty to be wrung outta Gixxer Central Command for this?

Holy cow!! If Suzuki is aware they'd better institute a serious recall policy....like right eff'n NOW or the lawsuits are going to flatten them!

There isn't anything else holding the front end on is there?

holy shit, is that your bike? is there a link to a thread if online somewhere?

Rider was in flip flops, jeans, t shirt, no helmet no MC endorsement. Popo let him go with no citations due to witness statement. Bike not insured. Rider said it felt like the the left side steering just melted and the whole front just slowly peeled to the right so it slid on its left side. Rider got to a grassy median, lucky him.
So after Suzuki lawyers take a look at it, I guess it will be parted, unless Suzuki wants to take it.

He prolly forgot to tell them about the 250 wheelies and 250 stoppies that were performed prior to the 'meltdown'. :punk:

Maybe I missed it...
What year was that Gixxer??

Karma

This is terrible...
