Stock air box

I have a question about the stock air box connections, since I am taking off the stage 7 kit. I know the back connection on the air box is to the original crank case vent, but what about the front hole in air box. Does it connect to anything or is it just a drain? I just want to make sure I get it right.

The front one is just a drain, it doesn't connect to anything.
