I have been checking out the Vrod mods and have a couple of questions. 1) What are the modifications to the stock wiring you have to do to do this mod? 2) Will the HID kit for a stock headight work in this headlight?

When I try to search for HID headlight mods the HID is dropped by the search engine as being too small, etc. How can I search for HID mods? Need to upgrade my headlight as my old eyes are needing more light... :biglaugh:

I'm doing a front-end rebuild on an '89 vmax I just picked up and it needs a new headlight. I'm looking at two different headlights for the replacement and I'm wondering if anyone has either of these lights or what some opinions are on them. Feedback would be appreciated...

Hello, I've recently replaced my front headlight with 3 smaller ones. From what I understand the stock bulb is a 50-60 WATT lamp, now there are 3 100 WATT lamps connected in parallel which in turn drains the battery in a few minutes. I'm trying to find a way to make the headlights work...

i just got my exactrep 7" headlight in, and it has a amber bulb in the lower right area of the reflector [when looking at it].......anybody know what/why this little bulb is for? should i even wire it up? and if i do wire it up, just to a rocker or on all the time? not installed yet, waiting...
