I see a few have stock pipes and have drilled out the ends of their mufflers. Has anyone done any tests to see how this effects performance? (I don't want to loose any performance in case I ride with Mike again)

Are the stage 7 shorter noticeably? Or are they the same length but weaker? Thanks Todd

Hi guys can't find out how much the stock air box flows. Mine is horrible to keep clamped onto the carbs, I know stupid resin to change box but I'm tired of playing with it. What I want to know is the cfm so I can make a 1 pod filter in to 4 carb cold air intake and keep the stock jets.

Is anyone running longer than stock shocks? I want to raise my bike so would like to hear from members running 13.5"or 14" long shocks or longer. Want hear how it affects handling. Thanks

Pulled my needle jet as I'm running lean, the nylon stoper has 2 washers between it and the c-clip, needle is stock 5ez43. Cant find pic or description, service manual pic blows!! One washer is same diameter as nylon stoper, other one is tiny.:ummm::ummm: Thanks guys, Frank

My new to me 99 has the 4 K&N pod filters with the 4 into 1 Kerker, don't know what main jets, has adjustable slide needles, if I wanted to put a stock air box back on, would I need to rejet? also, are these K&Ns pods safe in the rain?

What's the difference between stock (49 state) needles and stock (California) needles, other than the Cali needles being adjustable?

My friend wants to race me. He has an 06 ZX6RR (the 600 not 636) the only mod done to his is a 46 tooth rear sprocket. Exhaust and everything else is stock. The question, is should I put some money down and bet, or should I just race for fun?
