Doing the steering head bearings

Which, I believe are parts #1, & #2 on this link:

I don't see the races listed seperately so I'm figuring they come with the bearings, is that correct?

Someone else will prolly jump in soon and confirm, but I believe you've got it right. Got mine from Sean and they came in two small boxes with the outer races.

Just be sure and get the OEM sets. The lower bearing has a rubber seal that aftermarket ones do not have.

Not always my friend, not always.

I've bought mine bearings at local Bearings and seals shop and they have exactly that rubber seal in ofer. Boutgh whole set (2 bearings and lower seal)
manufactered by SKF.
Paid about 30$ total.

Those are typical bearings and those always comes with complete races.

Thanks guys!! I had planned on OEM....... bearings, gaskets, seals....stuff like that I tend to stick with OEM, I know they're more money, but always seem to work well!

I am going to check/ grease mine to see how there doing after 17 years. I have no issues that are typical of reported problems. I hope I won't need to replace but will if any problems are encountered.
