EU is pushing French government to give up the 100hp restriction to fit EU laws.
I guess in one or 2 years, they will be able to enjoy the full power version.

I don't think that cap last five seconds once it leaves the showroom...double benefit: reduced taxes (officially it's still 100), and full power!!:eusa_dance:

I was wondering about that....so "off the showroom", a US spec Gen 1 bests a EU spec Gen 2?

What's different about it? Is the ECU just massively de-tuned or something?

The detuning has to be something simple like an ECU / Program. I don't see Yamaha making anything too special to conform. The Orange is great, so's the Red. I haven't won the Lottery or come into money in any other way so the color choices don't much matter right now.:sad2:

8 wires need to be rerouted/changed at the ecu to bring it back to full power.. Just don't get caught in France speeding like that or you may find your bike impounded..
